The start of a beautiful collection

this time last year sam bought me a wheel, the one on the left.

Rappard Wee Peggy circa 1979

i had no idea whatto do withit. so jessica and i took a drop spindle class.

i tried and tried and soun and spun, and then got the Ashford traveller in January.(middle)

it made such a difference in my spinning. i also got the hi speed flyer for it. oooh! sooo much fun!

now a dear friend is moving away. she brought the antique wheel on the right. i know nothing about it yet.

the girls are very excited b/c we can all spin at events and at home and not take turns. :-D

this is the nature's bounty yarn i spun up
see the beads

That yarn is stunning!! It must be so much fun that your girls are into spinning too. I can only hope that mine really does want to once she gets old enough. She's already said that my wheel is "hers" when she gets big.

I love the colors of the yarn and the beads!

I've often thought spinning would be fun but I really feel that I should deplete the stash before I even think about adding spinning to my adventures. On the other hand, my sister has a couple of spinning wheels . . . hmmmm.
