we are preparing for Pesach.
this is my favourite holiday. once i can getto the holiday that is...for now we are eating up the leaven-that would be the binge, and vaccumming the cabinets and searching for all the hidden chametz in our food-the purge.
why do they put yeast in EVERYTHING? and do we really need corn products filling up our foods and sweetening them? does chickenbroth need yeast?
i went to put silverware in the drawer and nticed all the crumbs hidden under the drawer liners.
arghh! so out came the drawer for a proper dousing.
and while i have been doing this i have been thiking about how no matter how we try 2 things seem to creep their ways in to our lives the world and sin. (yeast represents sin in passover)
so as we collected the chametz and removed and cleaned and washed and emptied the vaccum, we also prayed.
now...i have 150 chicken breasts and matza balls for 100+ people to make.
so i will see you all after the next couple seders
